Our work
Residential projects completed or currently being delivered by Symnetrix.
Symnetrix installed a wireless CCTV system using solar-powered cameras positioned around a modest-sized home to cover the property without extensive power cabling.
Result: Full coverage of the property using a practical wireless installation designed around the available camera positions and solar charging.
A homeowner had been relying on the Wi-Fi boosters supplied with their Sky broadband but still struggled with inconsistent coverage indoors, little usable signal out in the garden, and a complete dead-zone in the garage gym. Symnetrix replaced that arrangement with four internal access points and one external access point, each wired back to the network through labelled Ethernet wall sockets, including a ceiling-mounted unit in the garage.
Result: Reliable Wi-Fi now reaches from the house all the way to the bottom of the garden, with consistent speeds throughout. The garage gym dead-zone is fully resolved, and devices that previously struggled, including the Sky boxes, now report excellent signal strength.
A homeowner is upgrading from Ring floodlight cameras to UniFi G6 Bullet Pro cameras with infrared enhancers. The existing cloud cameras left gaps in coverage and tied recordings to a monthly subscription.
Planned outcome: Full coverage of the property at higher image quality, with footage recorded locally on site and no ongoing subscription. The infrared enhancers will extend reliable night-time coverage where the previous cameras fell short.
